Mr. Karamchandani has extensive experience in the financial
sector including Housing Finance, Life Insurance, Property and Casualty
Insurance, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and SME Banking. He has worked in
these areas on policy, market development, product development, branding,
operations enhancement, sales force effectiveness, distribution strategy,
mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, and outsourcing. One specific
initiative he is extensively involved in is low income housing. He and his team
are currently in the process of facilitating a number of pilots that will help
“make” this market. Mr. Karamchandani has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, an M.S.
from Berkeley and a PhD. from Stanford University. Ashish and his wife Vibha
Krishnamurthy also run Ummeed, a non-profit organization for children with
developmental disabilities. |
